Jamsday 9/29 “Would You Want Me” by Generationals
Happy Jamsday, friends. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I don’t know how many more fake heart attacks the Noles can give me before I actually have a real one, but we’re 4 - 0. I’m alright with that. It was a great weekend for live shows in Brooklyn, as I rallied to see eight bands in three days. Including two of my favorites, Fletcher C. Johnson and Twin Peaks, and a great new band, Las Rosas. Would suggest checking them all out if you’re looking for some fresh new tunage. But, today’s jamtastic song is from another favorite band of mine, Generationals. Hailing from The Big Easy, these guys have been around for a while, releasing their fourth album, Alix, just a couple weeks ago. But, what you should realize is they brought in the Indie God, Richard Swift, to produce, and again, everything he touches fucking rules. Their knee slapping, summery vibes are just what you need to get you through your day. Have a great rest of your Jamsday and enjoy “Would You Want Me” by Generationals.
